Life Cycle Management - Tutorial

ABSTRACT

System Life Cycle Management (SLCM) policy and concept was introduced by NATO AAP-40 document and the concept has been standardized by ISO 15288 document and extended to different application areas. The LCM Seminar enters into the technical topics and the processes which are necessary to establish and organize to transform LCM idea and concepts into a useful and applicable method. Definition of main objectives, input data requirements, output results and basic organization of LCM processes is also discussed and outlined. A particular attention is dedicated to the necessary analytical power consisting of different processing logics and capabilities to be used in an integrated and harmonized way.

SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Attilio Parri graduated in Physics, Nautical Sciences, from the University of Naples; MS Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado (Boulder) has worked as logistics engineer for years on many military and civil systems programmes. He has covered the role of RAMS manager also for international and multinational projects. Since 2006 he is also technical representative in Italy for Systecon AB (Sweden) who are providing knowledge, methods and management organization to adopt LCM policy.
